For many years we have been looking for ways to replace our major fundraising event, the Grand National Draw.
Although providing a useful source of income, it has a relatively low rate of return for the league, and a only small chance for participants to win a prize (4 prizes).
We therefore plan to start a 200 Club, along the same lines as that run by many organisations.
This will not only be cheaper to run (there being no overheads in the printing of tickets) but will give participants more chances to win a prize (36 prizes per year)
The 200 Club replaced the Grand National Draw from the beginning of the 2013-14 season.
The rules of the club were approved at the meeting of the committee on 14 November 2012.
The rules have been incorporated into the combined league rules.
